Vita Infinitus

Vita Infinitus is the result of a merge between two Anti Random Player Killing Clans, Stormbrazer and Valeria Victrix.

Current Vita Infinitus History is being logged by Kong Morten0, and by our Clan Members requesting events being added to the Clan History. Our Stormbrazer & Valeria Victrix Historians are also responsible for current Clan History.

This history is continusly being updated with the latest information. If anything seems to be missing or seems to be false information, please post in this topic, our Historians will change or update it as soon as possible.

At the end of each Month or Period a list with new Members that month or period is posted. Any names in red, purple or yellow/gold were later to become a Leader, Guardian (Council) or a Persistent Wolf.

The beginning[/color]

Vita Infinitus was created on Friday May 18th. After about a week of discussing certain aspects of the new Clan, including the Name, Requirements, (Temporary) Ranks and so on we officially were founded. The dicussion took place on these temporary boards, created by Ian.

Our first Leaders were the result of a Vote. The Beantin, and Makz 18 were our first leaders. Our first Council consisted off Iantfc, [color=red]M B Dw, Superfly721 and Crashdiver. The council was officially appointed on May 21st after a vote. That day, a lot of our Members also got a Clan Job in one of our various teams.

Within the first two weeks all of the following Members joined us in Vita Infinitus:
Le5 4 Life, King Fin24, Flamed Fanto, Redrover4423, Dmitri Aens, Kanopia, Tina 1333, Lance (Gary1010lee / Sluggerlance), Arundel9, Parrot251, Linkman567, Antboy123, Xplayx4, Soul Steal3, Galador Syro, Numbskull25, Abujabu2, Mpeg1,
Sammiemanbal.

Within the first two weeks we also experienced a large amount of Clan Friends applying. The news about the Merge had spread and reached old VV and SB members, that now are part of other clans.

On June 13th Vita Infinitus got its own Arcade featuring over 500 games.

July 2007

On July the forth Vita Infinitus switched Ranks. Opposing the old ranks of Recruit, Member, Senior Member, Council and Leader we now got ourselves a brand new set of Wolf Themed Ranks.
The Ranks in order from Recruit to Leaders: New Wolf, Young Wolf, Active Wolf, Known Wolf, Devoted Wolf, Proud Wolf, Persistent Wolf, Pack Guardian, Pack Leader.
This day Vita Infinitus also had its first Promotions. Antboy123, Sammiemanbal, Le5 4 Life, Bikerke, Dmitri Aens, Flamed Fanto, Kanopia & Parrot251 were the first to reach the Known Wolf rank.
The forth of July our first Combat Competition ended aswell. Mpeg1 won 500k gp and Crashdiver won 250k gp for their efforts during the Competition. As an additional prize there was 50k gp for anyone not fully listed in the Hi-Scores, who managed to get listed after the month of training. Parrot251 and Le5 4 Life achieved this and got awarded 50k.
All of our IRC, Raiding and Clan Rules had been posted this day.

On July the fifth a re-vote was posted for the Leadership. All the Council & Leaders were choosable for a Leadership position. This resulted in Mage Mark01, Iantfc and Nilfirith (M B Dw) to be the Leaders and The Beantin, Makz 18 and Superfly721 to be our Council.

Saturday the 14th Vita Infinitus had its first war! Our opponents were Brute Forces, a dutch PK'ing clan, and we fought 10 versus 10. Vita Infinitus won with 9 members remaining! (Info, War Vid)
On July 19th our first official Alliance had been declared with Sleeping Dragons. (Info)

July 21st marked the official start of preparing for Eternal Lights. (Info)

August 2007

August 13 showed a fair amount of changes to the Forums as well as promotions. Seeing several applicants did not meet our Requirements but do wish to join, there had been created a rank for those (Wolf Cub). There had been changes in Rank Colors to make sure all Ranks are readable in all Skins. As of this day we have 3 different Ally Ranks, and 2 different types of Clan Friends.

Along with these updates there's been another set of promotions.
- Aidan Ryuko has been promoted to the Honored Friend (= Promoted Clan
Friend) rank.
- Tjl33t has been promoted to the Young Wolf rank.
- Poo Grunt has been promoted to the Active Wolf rank.
- Smil3y (Tina 1333) and Soul Steal3 have been promoted to the Known Wolf rank.
- Le5 4 Life, Parrot and Antboy123 got promoted to the Devoted Wolf rank.

Makz 18 was forced to step down from the Pack Guardian rank seeing he managed to get a scholarship and wouldn't be able of playing RuneScape nor lead a Clan cause of limited spare time.

September 2007

The month started with the adding of a bunch of Smileys to the forums! It was soon followed by the start of Activity Rewards (Sept 1, IInfo) and the announcement of Parrot as our latest Pack Guardian (Info)

From this day on we also encourage our members to recruit their friends to join the Clan.

In the light of recent arguements between members taking place in the IRC Channel the Leadership was forced to act. On September 8th two topics were posted which meant action taken against those breaking our rules. (Info 1, Info 2)

On September 15th we had a war against Endless, which resulted in a full win without losses for Vita Infinitus. (War Video)

September 16th noted the accepting of our second Alliance with Oak Island Pirates. OIP had applied for an alliance three days earlier.

After Kyran left VI the Leadership looked at all of the candidates whom had applied for the vacant spot of Pack Guardian. Out of the candidates they picked three clan members who they felt could do a good job as Guardian. These three clan members were Lita, Shininglink and Mnt Rose. Mnt Rose was elected the new Guardian!

This month, Shininglinks were elected as Pack Guardian, and VI got a new historian, also Tiddyn was promoted to Persistent Wolf. But alas, with great gains, comes great losses. This was also the month, where our beloved Pack Leader, Mage Mark01 stepped down, and became a Persistent Nub. He will forever be remembered as a great leader.

This month, decided to step down from his Pack Guardian possition, leaving yet another empty spot in our leadership. The elections also started this month, and VI's very first PvP Raid were hosted.

During December month, quite a couple of things went on. First of all, we had the Guardian Elections, where the first was won by our own Mage Mark01. This was also the month, were the very first Vita Infinitus Quest was released to the beloved members of VI. Also, the second Guardian election was won by Tiddyn, so good luck in the future with your new rank. In December, we also allied The Sabres.

August, 2009

August month brought along several major changes to the clan, the first of these was to reinstate Mage Mark01 as Pack Leader, and change the way of choosing new leaders. Among other changes were removing the ranks of Pack Guardian and Known Wolf.

I joined on 18-May 07 the forums, helped making the forums and started as co-leader of the clan, after which I became leader.

So I am kinda of the oldest leader here.. and not even mentioned

Reading through that, I think I should still be a pack leader. I can't see me stepping down or moving to honoured friend. Imagine that, me being a leader, bet I'd be awful (I looked it up, January 27th was the day I left).

I added it... but it says Alys was promoted to Pack Leader in January aswell, and I can't remember we did an election that fast.. so that might be worth checking out aswell

I am curious, I see some months mentioned of winners of the skill competition and wolf of the month and some mention of who has left, but it doesn't seem consistent. So I guess I am asking if the body is still a work in progress?

I'd rather call it a patchwork of different things, by different persons with different styles. Oh, and the name mistake was a goof-up on my part. Sorry. I believe that it is fixed now.
